Dovetail Designs was established in 2005 by Stephen Basilieres. He graduated in 2000 from the Woodworking Technology Program at the Woodworking Centre of Ontario (Conestoga College Campus) in Kitchener, ON.
He went on to work at various local businesses including Marinete Enterprises as Project Manager proving himself capable of handling large portfolios across Canada, the US and the Bahamas.
He was also a Director in AWMAC and helped in the publication of the provincial safety manual for the woodworking industries.

Dovetail Designs has its 6,000 sq. ft. wood working shop in Hagersville, Ontario on the old army base, which services Ancaster, Dundas, Uxbridge, Oakville, Watertown, Mississauga and Toronto.
